SandersScaping LLC was built on a foundation of local roots and a passion for horticulture. Our founder, Matt Sanders, grew up right here in the South Jersey region.
His journey into landscaping began at age 15 with a hands on job at Mantua Creek Nursery, where he discovered his love for designing and building beautiful outdoor spaces.
Though he left home to pursue his education at the University of Delaware, earning degrees in Landscape Horticulture and Plant Science, Matt always planned to return. After an internship at the world renowned Longwood Gardens, he came back to his community and established SandersScaping LLC in March of 2003.
His goal was simple: to offer high quality, professional landscaping services to the neighbors and communities he grew up with.
Our Expertise

His dedication to the craft is shown through continuous training and numerous certifications. This ensures we bring a high level of skill to every project.
Our Qualifications Include
- Hardscaping: We are certified by both the NCMA (National Concrete Masonry Association) for retaining wall construction and the ICPI (Interlocking Concrete Paving Institute) for installing paver walkways, patios, and driveways.
- Water Features: Matt is trained by Aquascapes to design and install serene ponds, aquabasins, and pondless waterfalls.
- Landscape Lighting: We create dramatic outdoor lighting effects thanks to specialized training from CAST Lighting in low voltage systems.
- Design & Plant Health: We use Pro Landscape Software to provide clients with accurate 3 D before and after images of their project. Matt is also licensed by the State of NJ for pesticide application, ensuring your landscape is cared for properly.
